Jungle River Retreat Home And Prime Space to Build Your Main House

The ascending driveways terminates at a carport which is attached to the house, ensuring an always-dry passage. The entrance is located at the back, adjacent to the beautiful timber patio which looks straight into the forest that descends towards the nearby river valley. The ground level includes a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and laundry/storage room. In a twist of brilliant design, the shower sits in the patio and gives a full jungle view! A staircase leads to the upper-level bedroom with windows that look into the jungles on both ends of the house. But the patio is definitely the focal point of the space – two deck chairs and a hammock take full advantage of the green, tropical views and the permeating sounds of the jungle.

Now for the hidden gem – a staircase, descending through the vibrant rainforest which starts right over the roof of the house, winds its way between the jungle trees and beautiful tropical flowers. A short walk down the slopes of a valley brings you to a charming year-round river which offers multiple swim holes. At times the waters of this crystal river appear to be a deep turquoise colour – and so the swim holes become magical places that make for truly unique Instagram photos! This is a beautiful spot for relaxation, a cool dip, practicing morning yoga, firing up a BBQ or meditating in the tranquillity of nature.

The BIG front yard presents MULTIPLE options for development – the flat land could accommodate a large house with a swimming pool, patio, and additional cabins PLUS a huge green area that can be used as a garden or orchard. Additional commercial interest would also thrive here – a café, restaurant, or additional short or long-term accommodation options are on the table for a savvy and sharp entrepreneur – surrounded by jungles and a magical river valley BUT in the middle of OJOCHAL, the business would be BRISK!

Let me tell you a bit about the town of Ojochal – it is THE place to be – a hot real estate market driven by the town’s tropical surroundings, services and amenities, and proximity to some of the most scenic beaches, waterfalls and landscapes of Costa Rica. The town is known as an international village due to her popularity as a destination for locals, expats and tourists alike. World-class dining options surround the local area as do yoga studios and fitness centres, hotels and guesthouses, shops and supermarkets, medical clinics, legal offices, hardware stores and many other businesses. But Ojochal is also a true jungle town with numerous mountain rivers, streams and waterfalls criss-crossing the area, and a canopy of towering trees immersing the local homes and businesses giving a true ‘jungle village’ vibe. Resident toucans, flocks of noisy scarlet macaws, howler and capuchin monkeys, sloths, majestic blue morpho butterflies and many other tropical animals complete the Ojochal experience!

High-speed internet, electricity and legal water are available at the property. An established AirBnB house, with a perfect Instagram-ready backyard, plus a large space for additional development is ready and waiting for the right investor (or resident) – is that YOU?
