Home “The Crystal Shire” With Wide Ocean View

The Crystal Shire is designed to dissolve the boundary between indoors and out. Disappearing pocket doors invite the coastal breeze into every space, while expansive terraces, a sunken lounge, and outdoor dining areas set the stage for sophisticated entertaining.

Every inch of this home speaks to master craftsmanship. From the grand cristobal live-edge entry door to the cedro and guanacaste dining tables, teak heartwood deck, and dramatic corteza staircase, The Crystal Shire is a showcase of exquisite tropical hardwoods.

The gourmet kitchen was designed for culinary excellence, boasting top-end appliances, custom hardwood cabinetry, quartzite countertops, and a chef-friendly layout. Thoughtfully placed accent lighting enhances the warmth and ambiance of every space.

The expansive great room effortlessly blends living, dining, playing, and kitchen areas into an open, airy retreat bathed in natural light. A large rear window ensures refreshing cross breezes, and an illuminated staircase with an etched glass banister adds a touch of architectural elegance. From the large sectional sofa, you can watch the TV while simultaneously watching the kids play in the pool under a spectacular sunset. Seamlessly connected to the outdoor terrace, this space is the heart of the home, ideal for both relaxation and entertainment.

The master suite is a true private retreat, offering unobstructed ocean views, dual walk-in closets, and a spa-inspired bath with twin rain showers and a soaking tub that opens to the lush outdoors. A private 30’ x 12′ terrace with an integrated wet bar offers an intimate space to enjoy in privacy. A dedicated office space within the suite includes a custom guanacaste wood desk that faces the ocean view strategically placed to distract you from your work.

Two well-appointed, king-sized guest suites offer private ocean-facing terraces, and ensuite bathrooms and closets. For an added touch of exclusivity, each suite features a mountain-facing outdoor shower, providing an immersive connection to nature.

A 300-foot private driveway, accessed via a modern automated gate, leads through manicured tropical gardens before arriving at an oversized cobblestone carport with panoramic ocean views. The grounds are enriched with 40 mature fruit trees, vibrant ornamentals, and a secluded creek with natural swimming holes and small waterfalls.

The spa and infinity pool are a visual masterpiece, lined with Balinese Sukabumi stone and trimmed with black lava. The spa overflows into the 33′ x 14′ vanishing-edge pool in two waterfalls, and the pool features a sun shelf for lounging and a dedicated lap lane for exercise.

The property is fully off-grid capable, powered by 36 high-efficiency solar panels, and a 40kWh battery array. But a 24kW backup generator and a grid backup connection ensure redundant energy independence.
